PaidUp began with the singular goal of making youth sports easier. Co-founder Allan Rayson, a father of three boys active in travel lacrosse, noticed a need in sports club management that hadn’t been properly filled. With the help of Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group IT Vice President Gerry Mecca, the company was born. In short time Felipe Fernandes came onboard and the company was officially launched at their Austin, Texas headquarters in 2014.
Convenience Select, as it was then called, went on to manage the finances for over a dozen clubs across California, Florida, and Texas during 2015. The success of each team’s progress was so notable, that expansion soon began and a rebranding effort concluded with the official redesignation of the company as PaidUp.
With over 22-million student athletes competing in extracurricular athletics leagues, PaidUp recognizes the need for a properly functioning financial system in youth sports. We lead 10 employees that are ready to help answer your every question and need, with the deep caring of a parent to motivate our goals.
